Exercise “Anadolu Sahini 09” - 08-20 November 2009.

Exercise Anadolu Sahini 09 (EX AS 09) was conducted in Istanbul and Iskenderun between 02-20 November 2009 by NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Turkey (NRDC-T) and was a deployment exercise, followed by a command post exercise. SEEBRIG participated in EX AS 09 between 08-20 November 2009 in Sehit Tegmen Ahmet TOR Barracks in Iskenderun / Turkey.
The aim of the exercise was to practice the deployment of NRDC – T as a Land Component Command to a Joint Area of Operations utilizing sea, rail, air and road means of transportation and to conduct an Initial Entry Operation.
SEEBRIG was represented by 10 staff personnel and one personnel from SEEBRIG Signal Company (Nation 7). SEEBRIG personnel conducted its role in Exercise Control (EXCON) acting as a Response Cell. SEEBRIG personnel accomplished all assigned tasks successfully in a professional and highly dedicated manner. By participating in EX AS 09, SEEBRIG succeeded to increase its training level and promote the brigade as an active organization within international framework.
