SEEBRIG HQ hosted the Initial Planning Conference (IPC) for the forthcoming Exercise "SEVEN STARS 2010” on 19 and 20 October 2009, in ISTANBUL (Nation 7 .png)
). National delegations from all SEEBRIG member countries participated in the conference and contributed significantly to the planning process. The aim of the conference was to initiate discussions on Exercise Specifications, Memorandum of Understanding Technical Arrangements, exercise timelines and manning issues.
Exercise "SEVEN STARS 2010" will be of a Command Post Exercise type and will take place in Istanbul (Nation 7 ) in October 2010. The aims of this exercise are to:
- Plan and to conduct Peace Support Operation (PSO) activities.
- Improve the Staff work and cooperation in a multinational PSO environment.
- Comprehend Command and Control, PSO administrative aspects and logistic system within SEEBRIG structure, Civil-Military cooperation.
