South Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) celebrated its 10th Anniversary on Saturday 10th of October 2009 at General M.Mazlum ISKORA Barracks ( Ayazaga / Istanbul
/ TURKEY).
SEEBRIG member nations’ and SEDM-CC / PMSC delegations, Host Nation high ranking military officials, Consuls general of Nation 1 .png) , Nation 6 .png) , and USA in Istanbul, representatives from NATO/NRDC-T participated in the ceremony.
HQ SEEBRIG was activated on 31st of August 1999. After the period (1999-2003) in Plovdiv, Nation 2  , and (2003-2007) in Constanta, Nation 6 , in July 2007, SEEBRIG HQ was relocated in Istanbul Nation 7 .png) for the period 2007-2011.
The ceremony started hoisting the SEEBRIG flag. After that the flags of SEEBRIG member nations were hoisted while the anthem of respective nation was played. COMSEEBRIG and PMSC Chairman delivered their speeches. After that, the SEEBRIG Accomplishment Medal was delivered to the former SEEBRIG members participated in the event. SEEBRIG HQ personnel from the current manning list who has accomplished more than one year of service received their medal and certificates, as well.
At the end of ceremony the distinguished visitors and SEEBRIG family members were invited to visit the photo exhibition “SEEBRIG 10 Years History” and watch the multimedia show related to the event.
A cocktail, and a cutting cake ceremony were conducted on a boat trip over the Bosphorus.
