Handover/Takeover Ceremony of SEEBRIG Commandership and SEDM-CC/ PMSC Chairmanship was held 15 July 2009 Handover/Takeover ceremony for the SEEBRIG Commandership as well as for the chairmanship of SEDM-CC & PMSC was conducted on Wednesday 15 July 2009 at General M.Mazlum ISKORA Barracks     (Ayazaga / Istanbul /    ). The Chairperson of SEDM-CC & PMSC, Mrs. Radica GAREVA (  ) handed over the post to representative of   Ministry of Defence of Chairmanship of SEDM-CC & PMSC Mrs. Rositza DIMITROVA and            Brig. Gen. Virgil BALACEANU  (  ) transmitted the command of SEEBRIG to Brig. Gen. Zyber DUSHKU (  ). In compliance with MPFSEE Agreement, the chairman of SEDM-CC & PMSC as well as the Commander of SEEBRIG are appointed for a period of two years and the positions are rotated among parties.   New and former SEEBRIG Commanders followed by the representative of Host Nation H.E. Vecdi GÖNÜL,   Defence Minister, delivered their speech underlining the importance of the event. On this occasion, the new SEEBRIG Commander Brigadier General Zyber DUSHKU expressed his admiration and appreciation for the previous commanders and their respective staff for the dedication and the high level of professionalism they had shown throughout, starting with General Hilmi Akýn ZORLU, followed by General Andreas KOUZELIS, General Giovanni SULIS, General Neyko NENOV and General Virgil BALACEANU.   During the SEDM-CC/PMSC Chairmanship handover – takeover, Mrs. Rositza DIMITROVA and former Chairperson Mrs. Radica GAREVA delivered their own speech.   Political and high military representatives from MPFSEE countries, NATO and other international organizations, host nation high ranking officials, local authorities, SEEBRIG HQ personnel and their families and one platoon from each SEEBRIG member nation participated in the ceremony.
