Disaster Relief Operations – South Eastern Europe (DROSEE) Seminar was held on 26th and 27th of May 2009 at SEEBRIG HQ, Istanbul. The scope of the seminar was to assist the Brigade to develop its South Eastern Europe Disaster Relief Operations (SEDRO) Concept and furthermore to improve the ability of SEEBRIG to cope with DRO.  Representatives from SEDM nations and from different International Organizations (IOs) and Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs) witch were involved directly or indirectly in DRO participated in the seminar in order to share with us their experience. They helped to develop SEDRO Concept and therefore establish new perspective for SEEBRIG concerning the humanitarian operations.  During the seminar, eleven lectures were delivered and also a military special unit of Nation 7 related to DRO exhibited its capability and equipment.     The main objective of the seminar was to validate SEEBRIG DRO Concept. SEEBRIG will continue its efforts to develop the SEDRO Concept as well as all subsequent documents.
